Obama speechwriter Favreau learns the perils of Facebook

Jon Favreau, future White House director of speechwriting, has so far been at a loss for words over Facebook pictures of him at a recent party.

Pictures of Favreau, 27, at a recent party appeared on Facebook Friday. In one of the photos, Favreau, who served as President-elect Barack Obama’s chief speechwriter during the campaign season, was dancing with a life-sized cardboard cut-out of future secretary of state Hillary Clinton. In a second photo, a friend was offering the cutout a bottle of beer while Favreau stood beside the likeness with his hand on the cardboard New York senator’s chest.

The picture was reportedly up for a scant two hours or so before Favreau removed it, along with every other picture of himself beyond his profile photo — but there’s no getting the Facebook genie back in the bottle.

Favreau wasn’t talking to reporters about the incident, but transition officials said he had offered an apology to Clinton.

The Clinton camp reaction? “Sen. Clinton is pleased to learn of Jon’s obvious interest in the State Department, and is currently reviewing his application,” Clinton aide Philippe Reines told the Washington Post.

Forget Wheres Waldo - Where’s Joe Biden

I know that Good ole Joe has a habit of let’s say, misspeaking.  However, the fact remains that he could be the next vice president of the United States of America.

So, no matter what television network you turn to, you only see 3 of the 4 current candidates.  No mention of Joe whatsoever. Where is Joe Biden?

I cannot count on both hands the number of gaffs that Biden has belted out in the past few months.  And initially I got pissed because the media never covered any of them.  Gaffs, untruths, whatever.  They all said that’s Joe, that’s just the way he is.

That’s just great.  A vice president that can just make up stuff, fabricate numbers, etc., and we just have to accept it as “That’s Just Joe.”  Whether on history, economics, whatever, he doesn’t have the facts in order and we just have to accept it.

So, the answer from the Obama campaign is to institute a new strategy known as ‘Hiden Biden’.

It really is hilarious if you think about it.  And completely scary if you think about it a little more.

Hilary and Joe both have said the Republican Candidate is the better choice in the current election year.  I guess thats why she was kicked to the curb and Joe was told to hide himself in the closet for the past couple of weeks.  Where would they hide him in the White House?

Maybe Joe is hiding himself because he’s tired of the tired old “Change” crap.

History will be made tomorrow one way or the other.  There will be a 44th President chosen.

It really has been a historic year, and entertaining to boot.
